Acid Reflux Disease Complete Acid Reflux Relief Remedy

In our family food is a way of life. And life is about indulgence. So whenever we have a meal it was like a fiesta. I never turned down food in my life. So you would understand how difficult it was for me whenever when I started feeling the symptoms of my condition. After I finish my meal I would experience heartburn. As I grew older the heartburns became more frequent, even when I was not eating as much as I did before. I thought cutting down on my food intake would do the trick. I was half-wrong.
It didn’t help that I drank at least five cups of coffee a day. As a writer it was my elixir. I spent long hours finishing multiple articles. It didn’t leave a lot of time for me to rest but when I had time to do so I couldn’t find a comfortable position to get some rest. My days were long and sleeping was often sacrificed over finishing my work. My friend told me that I should try to drink milk. But that seems to make things worse.
It was not until I read Kathryn Whittaker’s Stop Acid Reflux Now. I was amazed how many things that I was actually doing wrong. And how the wrong advice my well-meaning friends had given me where actually making my life worse.
I never thought that eating in a slouched position placed pressure on my stomach making it work harder to digest my food. I also loved eating while lying down on my bed, watching television. Nowadays I actually take my time to eat with the right posture. I let my spoon reach my mouth rather than my mouth reach out for my spoon.

I also followed her advice regarding the right kinds of food to eat. This took a lot of discipline and I can’t say that I was able to always follow it. But after much ribbing from my relatives I decided that I was going to prove to them that I was going to beat this ailment one way or another. As much I love their cooking, I needed to make the quality of my life better by controlling what I eat and making sure that I have enough nutrients and rest.
True enough I saw this happen slowly but surely. I had given up two of my addictions, cholesterol and caffeine. I was able to see the changes in my weight as well as the simple things that I often ignore because I didn’t want them to be a source of my insecurities. Because the acid that comes out of my stomach no longer burns my throat I am able to breath out fresher breath than before. Of course, this made my partner so happy that he actually mentioned it to me several times.
I feel a glow that comes from being full but not being bloated. I am able to enjoy good food without having to worry about guilt as well as pain. How about you?
